Dear 6th District of Connecticut:
My name is Andrew Legnani and I am excited to announce that I am running this year for the 6th State Senate District.
I am asking you, the residents in New Britain, Berlin, and Farmington, for endorsements, volunteers, and most importantly, for your financial support. I am proud to say I live in Berlin, Connecticut, where I have been born and raised.
While working as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), I developed strengths to look beyond people’s circumstances, and empathically pull individuals into a better place. I also have experience in the administrative side of healthcare, by working for one of Connecticut’s insurance companies.
These strikingly opposing experiences propelled me into the civic life by having served the town of Berlin’s Town and Recreation Department as the appointed commissioner. I deeply care about the medical treatment of our residents, and the financial hardships that impact people. I aim to share these lived experiences as a State Senator. We need someone who understands the inner workings of the healthcare industry; working with it instead of combating it, to ensure coverage for our citizens.
This should be a priority for anyone who wishes to serve the residents. This seat is a huge opportunity to directly give input into Connecticut’s state budget. Please consider this an invitation for you, your friends, community leaders, and local organizers to reach out to me to chat about your ideas and even join my team.
With your support we will win the 6th State Senate seat. Contact my campaign team at (860) 559-7256 or email 2020Legnani@gmail.com. The state Democratic Primary is scheduled for August 11, 2020, and I’m making every day count.
-Andrew Legnani
