Some of her most notable reporting at Trinity includes coverage of maladministration from College deans, the current genocide in Gaza, student protests regarding Trinity’s Title IX policy, administration’s handling of recent anti-Semitic hate crimes and the controversial flag removal. Olivia is majoring in sociology and minoring in Italian Studies, and in her free time she enjoys reading about the Watergate scandal, watching TikTok edits of Rafe from Outer Banks and listening to her “fall in Connecticut” playlist (on Apple Music, sorry). She joined the Tripod because she believes in the power of students’ voices to better their community, and wants to keep the integrity of print newspapers alive and well.

Savannah Brooks ’26 is a Managing Editor for the Tripod. A history major with a minor in community action, Savannah hails from the great town of Crofton, Maryland (famous for its invasive snakehead incident in 2002) and has firmly decided that this means she is better than everyone from “a Boston suburb.” She formerly served as a News Editor for the Tripod and focuses on stories about human rights, theater and her 500 other miscellaneous interests. When not obsessing over editing for the Tripod, you can catch Savannah in theatrical productions (she played Hamlet last year, it’s NBD) or working at Admissions, Athletics, and the Watkinson. Her favorite activities include spending all of her money on Broadway shows and going to Chipotle. The Tripod is one of her greatest passions and she believes in the sustaining power of the written word. For the 2024-25 school year, she is attending the University of Oxford.
