Dancing Everywhere is the culminating performance, installation, and presentation of a year long project lead by Assistant Professors of Theater and Dance Peter Kyle and Rebecca Pappas. The two day event begins Friday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. with a live performance on the Main Quad ‘neath the elms. Quad Happening is a fantastical mashup of motion and sound that weaves a dreamlike exploration of time passing. The Trinity College campus community is invited to this durational happening that includes appearances by The Chapel Singers, Samba Ensemble, dancers, dinosaurs, and more!

Following the live performance is A Preposition, a video presentation that will be projected on the Trinity College Chapel. This dance film, created collaboratively with students, explores presence and absence amidst the architecture of campus. This presentation will be played on a loop from 8:15 – 9:00 p.m. and can be viewed from the Main Quad.

Dancing Everywhere continues virtually on Saturday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom. Here students and past and present faculty will be presenting a compilation of dances for the camera and works created for Zoom. All are welcome to attend and view performances by Rachna Agrawal, Nancy Becerra-Cordoba, Clare Donohoe ’22, Lesley Farlow, and Ugne Tumonyte ’24.
