The Trinity Tripod‘s experienced design team can design an ad for the paper for your business or organization. Contact tripod@trincoll.edu for a personal rate (dependent on type of organization, advertisement size and use outside the paper).
Social media advertisements: The Tripod can offer ads in the form of story posts on our primary forms of social media, Instagram and Facebook. For social media rates, please email tripod@trincoll.edu.
Discounts: Advertisers who commit to placing multiple print ads in the Tripod over the course of the semester will receive the following discounts:
Buy 3 ads: 3% off
Buy 5 ads: 5% off
Buy 10 ads: 10% off
Local businesses who offer discounts, coupons or specials to Trinity students or other members of the Trinity community may be eligible for an additional discount. Please contact tripod@trincoll.edu for details.
Timeline, requirements and payment
The Tripod is published on Tuesdays during the academic year. The Tripod is not published during break periods, although we do often publish a few articles online over the course of breaks. Advertising space should be reserved by 5 p.m. on Wednesday preceding publication, and ad copy submitted by noon on Friday preceding publication.
Advertising copy should be emailed as a digital attachment. To ensure the highest quality of publication, we request that you send us a TIF file (.tif) or Photoshop (.psd) in 300 dpi. If you would like your ad to be in color, you will be charged a 3% fee. The Tripod will print ads as they are submitted and is not responsible, or otherwise liable, for any mistakes in advertisements received. The editorial and business staff of the Trinity Tripod reserve the right to decline/remove any advertisement at any time and for any reason.
