FOrg Office Hours

I am so glad you’ve come in today! Have a seat! I have this absolutely delicious Kool-Aid in my office and you are welcome to try some. No really, I made it myself! Are you sure? What about some bourbon? I’m well aware of the time, thanks. Maybe later then…now let’s take a look at your homework. What are you thinking about getting help with? “Power and Seizing It”, huh? That one and “Union Busting 201” were my favorite classes in my undergrad days. I got an A in both. Super practical when I helped out in Panama back in ‘89. I mean… nevermind. Anyways, number nine? The answer is “Interdisciplinary, dynamic, entrepreneur, leadership.” Yep, same as numbers 1-8. What does it mean? Don’t go around asking silly questions like that. All those words make a complete sentence if you ask me. That’s all FOrg really is. All my favorite social scientists agree: Max Weber, Madison Grant, John Gotti. Enron lived by those words and look at how powerful they were! Alright, let’s not cherry pick… are you sure you don’t want this Kool-Aid? No, I am not drinking any because I am on a full sugar-free diet. Swear—I really am. It’s just…doesn’t thinking about market theory make you soooo thirsty? It makes me positively parched! C’mon…I’ll drink some if you will. Just a little cup? Think about all those poor poli-sci minors who get NO Kool-Aid. Aren’t we just so fortunate to be able to drink this Kool-Aid on a beautiful day such as this one? See, I knew you’d come around. Everyone wants the Kool-Aid eventually. But first, a toast— Formal Organizations is a terrific minor that every student should consider. Cheers!
