Winter settled over Hartford with a rare persistence this season, as the city faced the longest cold spell since 2018 with many consecutive days of below-freezing temperatures. And Trinity College felt it too: the campus transformed with snow settling across the Long Walk and the Main Quad, softening the sharp lines of Gothic architecture. Bare branches enveloped the campus and the facilities crews were seen working consistently to clear paths and maintain safe access to academic buildings and residence halls. Even in the frigid weather, Trinity maintained a quiet steadiness — one that was crisp, bright and unmistakably New England.
