To the Editors,
We represent the national governing board of St. Anthony Hall, the Trinity chapter of which has been suspended (by both the College and by ourselves) since Spring 2023.
Recently it has come to our attention that there are students on the Trinity campus who may be representing themselves as the group that will “lead the re-start of the Hall.” Any of your classmates who makes this sort of claim is, by definition, an imposter. The Hall will restart, but when it does, this restart will be led by the Saint Anthony Trust of Hartford (the chapter’s alumni group) and *not* by some self-appointed coterie. When that time comes, word will go out to the entire college community that the search for the next generation has begun; nothing will be decided about membership until all students have had the chance to present their interest in this storied institution.
Yours,
James Harper (Trinity College ’87), Vice-Presiding Officer, St. Anthony Hall
Alice Rha (Brown University ’09), Presiding Officer, St. Anthony Hall
